In this room, I got hands-on with Autopsy, one of the most popular open-source digital forensics tools. I learned how to use it to investigate disk images, uncover deleted files, and examine file metadata. Autopsy’s interface made it easy to visualize and navigate large amounts of evidence.
The exercises gave me real practice in applying Autopsy to find key indicators of compromise on a system. It highlighted how tools like this allow analysts to save time and work more efficiently when reviewing large datasets during an investigation.
